Good evening all,
August has been a fun four days huh?!
Don’t worry though, corrections and bear markets are where opportunities lie. I am expecting a bounce in the coming week to give the market some breathing space BUT I also expect another corrective move. The market is not likely to reward bulls for the coming months.
Nevertheless at Zeahl Capital, I continue to build an aggressive high time frame portfolio centred around low-mid cap stocks in emerging industries and technologies.
With that in mind, here is the stock of the month, a stock I am adding to the portfolio. That stock is Rocket Lab USA, Inc RKLB 0.00%↑ .
Rocket Lab is an operator in the space industry, providing an end-to-end service including launch services, space craft, components and mission management. With nearly two decades of experience, Rocket Lab has become an industry leader with over 50 launches since 2017.
Their financial performance has also been impressive, with consistent revenue growth including an impressive $93 million recorded in Q1, a 55% increase from the previous quarter.
With government contracts rolling in, including one at $500million, it’s evident that Rocket Lab’s proven track record and diverse product offering puts it in a strong position to capitalise on new markets emerging in this industry.
Here at Zeahl Capital, we are looking for the next generation of long term growth stocks, which Rocket Lab represents.
We’ve rated Rocket Lab as a GLOW investment due it’s strong revenue growth, it’s impressive product offering and track record.

Jack, RocketLab has a unique approach to the second stage of their rocket.
Instead of placing the stage on top, as everyone else does, they put it inside the fairing and suspend it from the top.
This has two advantages. As we know, metals are strong in tension rather than compression. You can crush a can, but you cannot tear it apart. This allows the second stage to have thinner and lighter walls, making it cheaper and more efficient.
Second, the fairing it attached to the first stage, and so comes back with it for easy reuse.
Very neat, but still, competing with SpaceX and the Starship steamroller, is going to be a tall order….
